A Principled Approach, an Ethical Execution of Business
Our corporate policy structure incorporates our Values, Code of Conduct and a grouping of policies and operating standards, including our Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and principles on various significant concerns and risks to PetroUSA. This structure embodies our obligation to uphold responsible and principled business conduct.
Our Policy Framework
We believe in a collaborative, cross-functional approach to developing and implementing a streamlined and consistent approach to policy governance at PetroUSA.
The aim of our Policy Framework is to ensure PetroUSA’s commitments, approaches and requirements are accessible to employees and relevant contractors in a simple, clear and concise fashion. Employees must be able to easily understand the behaviors expected of them. External stakeholders must also have access to our policies to stay informed of PetroUSA’s approaches and commitments on matters of critical importance to them.
As part of this effort, we conferred comprehensively with all our business units and applied their opinions to ensure thorough execution of our policies and all supporting documentation. Additionally, we measured industry best practices against all alternatives, and the assurances that are essential to meet our corporate operational charter and support for external organizations such as the UN Global Compact, and the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
Our Environment, Social and Governance Committee (ESG), encompasses representatives of our senior C-suite management teams across all departments and corporate functions, who have reviewed and approved all our corporate policies. Our policies have also been approved by our Board of Directors.
